RNLI Kinsale Welcomes You
Aboard!
Kinsale Lifeboat Station welcomes you aboard! Established in 2003 it is one of the newest links in the RNLI safety chain ringing the coastlines of Ireland and the UK and though currently operating out of 40' containers, the construction of Kinsale RNLI's New Station has commenced!
We hope your find this site useful, and that it
helps keep you informed of developments at the Kinsale
RNLI Station. Information on forthcoming events
and activities are added regularly. Also, why not
join our newsletter - and have the information delivered
to you.
Kinsale RNLI's flanking stations are Crosshaven to the East who use another Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat and, to the West, is Courtmacsherry who have a Trent-class all weather Lifeboat. Kinsale lifeboat occasionally exercises with these crews and have combined forces also on actual callouts.
We are also flanked by Crosshaven, Oysterhaven and Summercove Coastguard stations to the East. The Old Head, the Seven Heads and the Castlefreake Coast Guard stations flank us to the West - part of a chain of 54 Coast Guard stations along the coast of the island of Ireland.
