At last both Barry and Kinsale are officialy friends, the historic signing of a "Friendship Pact" took place on the Sea Sunday Weekend 2009. The event also marked the 10th Anniversary of a similar Pact, signed between the Merchant Navy Association (Wales) Barry Branch and the Kinsale Harbour Board and Fishing Community.
Hopefully now we can move forward and extend a welcome to all clubs, organisations, schools, choirs and sports etc between both towns.
May the Lifeboat, Yacht Clubs and others of both towns contact each other and share if nothing else web links, although we all hope for much more.
