ROY DISNEY TO TELL A GOOD STORY FOR THE RNLI.

Friday, December 9 at 12:30, 2005. Roy Disney, Director Emeritus of The Walt Disney Company, will be the guest speaker at the next RNLI Sailing ‘By The Lee’ lunch, to be held in the Imperial Hotel, Cork on Friday, December 9 at 1230 hrs.

This high profile businessman and yachtsman will give an illustrated talk about his lifelong passion for sailing, his adventures in the world’s top sailing events and his thoughts on yacht racing then, now and in the future.Many of you will be familiat with Roy through his many visits to Cork. This photo has him sailing his yacht Pyewackey to victory at the Cork week in 2004.

Ron Holland was the first speaker at this fundraising luncheon series organised by the Kinsale and Crosshaven branches of the RNLI. His talk on his design of the world’s largest single masted sailing yacht, Mirabella V, sold out quickly and was very well received. Early booking for the Roy Disney talk is recommended.
