HalfWay 21st Annual Harvest FESTIVAL.

Friday the 27th will feature a parade of the steam engines and vintage machinery at 7pm, with the official opening of the event at 9pm at the Ramble Inn at Half Way.

Saturday the 28th will see the celebrated vintage car & motorcycle run depart from the Half Way’s Ramble Inn at 11am and tour various towns and villages throughout West Cork. The estimated 100 participating vehicles will return at 6pm to the Ramble Inn at Half way, where drivers & navigators will enjoy a traditional bacon & cabbage meal, allowing plenty of scope for banter on the day’s fun on the run! All entrants welcome.

Sunday the 29th will entail steam thrashing, timber sawing, stone crushing, butter making and a display of all types of vintage machinery in the yard at Half Way. A fun dog show will also be held and all four legged friends are welcome! The live Donal Ring Ceili Band and the Carrigdhoun Traditional Group will entertain all everybody and there will be a number of set dancing displays throughout the day. This will be an outing for all the family to remember! Adults €8, kids free.
