Don Pasquale Opera Night at Burren House.

20-Sep-2008: Fantastic weather and a wonderful location was the setting for the comic opera "Don Pasquale". The funds raised by the event were donated jointly to Courtmacsherry and Kinsale RNLI stations. The opera was a sell-out with the 300 seat marquee filled to capacity. Picnic baskets were available and a smaller marquee was raised for drinks and food.

The location was of course perfect as can be seen from the website www.BurrenHouse.net and the weather played it's part in the tent-enclosed setting.

The Opera was a wonderful success and the substantial proceeds from this event went to the RNLI funds for the Courtmacsherry and Kinsale lifeboat stations.

The athmosphere of the occasion was unforgettable and the lawnside pic-nic added its own special ingredient to the evening.

Thanks to all who attended and assisted in making this a wonderful occasion and a great fundraising success for our local lifeboat stations, and a special thanks to all those wonderful thesbians and musicians.
