Halfway Steam Rally raises €4,500 for RNLI.

The Halfway Steam Cranking up a head of steam.and Vintage Club raised over €4,500 for the new Lifeboat Station in Kinsale from their 2008 Steam and Vintage Rally. A small country pub in Halfway with a big heart and with great character and charcters we are delighted to be the benefactors of such generousity.

This is the second year in succession Great craic!that Kinsale Lifeboat Station has benefitted from the generousity of the Veteran and Vintage Club in Halfway, Ballinhassig, Co. Cork. For further details on this Club go to HSVC Website.

We were honoured by attendance of Tim Severin - that great seafarer - Tim Severin opens the Harvest Festival.who freely gave of his time, and juggled his punishing schedule, to perform the opening.
